Starting Course for Undergraduate Students

The British Council in collaboration with
Taiz university, Faculty of Education ,English department concluded an
intensive English workshop for undergraduate students concerning English some
topics in methodology. The intensive workshop lasted for six days at Taiz
university began on the 2nd of July and ended up on the 8th of July 2013.
The undergraduate trainees took
part in this workshop were impressed due to the huge amount of information and
new ideas they obtained while receiving such English workshop. Besides, they
expressed their sole need and desire to get some similar workshops in the
future. The workshop was cascaded by Trainers; Musa Ghaleb , Manal AL-Ariki,
Amal Al-Taweel, Mahmoud Yahya , Ahmed al-Qadhi Mohammed Al-Mujahed ,
Khaled Al-Parati , Acram Ahmed Mohammed Mothana Haider from Ibb governorate , Abdul-Hadi Al-Haj ,
Abdul Raqeeb Ali , Najeeb AL-Makrami and Abdul Hakim Alsamee and it was coordinated
by Mr. Najeeb AL-Makrami .
The trainees were divided into seven
groups and the covered the following topics:
1-
Starting
and finishing a lesson .
2-
Developing
confidence
3-
Lesson
plan components .
4-
Individual
lesson plan .
5-
Classroom
management .
6-
Giving
instructions .
The trainees expressed their gratitude to
the British council for offering such training which is reflected positively
after graduation.
We thanks Mr. Nadeem Al-Sakaf for coming
for the conclusion day as he met with the Rector of Taiz University Dr. Mohammed
Al-Suaibi , Dr. Anisa Dowkam Dean of College of Education and Dr. Taha Chairman
of English department .
During the ceremony Nadeem Al-Sakaf delivered
a speech talking about the training and its benefits advising the trainees to
continue gaining the knowledge from all sources for the benefit of the country .Also both Rector of University and Dean of the
college delivered speeches during the ceremony .
Great thanks to the people who are
working silently in the British council , Rajaa Bazara English language project manager , Huda Saleem project assistance and all the stuff .

كرمت جامعة تعز اليوم 168طالبا وطالبة
من قسم اللغة الانجليزية بكلية التربية بمناسبة اختتام البرنامج التدريبي
الخاص باللغة الانجليزية والاساليب الحديثة الذي استمر 8ايام .
وفي حفل التكريم اكد رئيس جامعة تعز الدكتور محمد الشعيبي اهمية التعاون بين الجامعة والمركز الثقافي البريطاني في تطوير التعليم الجامعي وخاصة اللغة الانجليزية .. داعيا الى اهمية وجود شراكة تأهيل وتدريبية بين الجامعة والمركز البريطاني .
من جانبه حث نائب المركز الثقافي البريطاني بصنعاء نديم السقاف المتدربين الًي التزود بالمعرفة والعلم بما من شانه تعزيز قدراتهم الذاتية والمهنية , مشيرا الى ان المركز الثقافي البريطاني يهتم بعملية تعليم اللغة الانجليزية على مستوي المدارس والجامعات في اليمن .
بدورها أشادت عميدة كلية التربية بجامعة تعز الدكتورة انيسة دوكم بالدورة والقائمين عليها ، مؤكدة ان إدارة الكلية والجامعة ستعملان على اعداد طلبة قسم اللغة الانجليزية الاعداد العلمي والتربوي المواكب لكافة التطورات الحديثة من اجل تلبية احتياجات سوق العمل .
