الانجليزية للصفوف 7-9 من مرحلة التعليم الأساسي» الدورة في جمهورية مصر
محافظة القاهرة استهدفت 27 مشاركاً من كبار مدربي اللغة الانجليزية في
أمانة العاصمة ومحافظات صنعاء – تعز – إب - الحديدة - عدن - حضرموت - الضالع –
المحويت – البيضاء و ذمار وهدفت الدورة إلى اكساب المتدربين مهارات ومعارف جديدة
عن طرق تدريس اللغة الانجليزية بأساليب حديثة.وسيقوم المتدربون بالعمل على تدريب ما يقارب 9.000 ألف معلم لغة
انجليزية في ميدان وزارة التربية على تلك المهارات التي اكتسبوها في الدورة .

The British Council conducts Trainers Development Course For Yemeni Master Trainers OF English In Egypt.

Cairo. - The British Council with collaboration with the Ministry of Education conducted successfully the intensive English Trainer Development Course workshops. The 27 master trainers of English selected carefully and precisely assembled from many different governorates such as, Sana’a, Aldhale’, Hadramout, Ibb, Aden, Taiz, Hodiedah, Saioon, Albaidha, Dhamar and ALmahweet. What’s more, the workshops would have taken place in Yemen, couple weeks ago .however, due to the turmoils and the riots happened in the capital, the destination of the course was shifted to be held eventually in Egypt, Cairo at the hotel of Safir. The workshops lasted for four days intensively inaugurated on the 27th of September and ended up on the 30th of Sep.
Besides, Prior to having the Trainer Development Course Mr. Mohammed Alnajashi, the general director of Training and Qualifying Department delivered a speech in which he expressed his deep gratitude and profound feeling towards the Ministry of education and the British council which was considered as a distinguished partner in the process of developing the English language in Yemen in terms of training and teaching in particular. Again he warmly welcomed the trainers who were considered the ambassadors of Yemen abroad and they would actually take the responsibility of conveying such workshops to the trainers of and teachers of English in the upcoming future. Moreover, he felt also happy as he accompanied them so far to follow up their progress and evaluate their performance together with conveying their needs and problems to the Ministry of Education regarding their status quo as Master trainers and teachers at the same time.
On the other hand, on the 27th & 28th of Sep, The Trainer Development Course kicked off by the British professional trainer. Mrs. Mary Sewailem who delivered an introductory workshop and familiarization, issues and challenges followed by such demonstration’s sessions/workshops on T.K.T Module 1, unit 1 and 2 “ Grammar and lexis” as a samples training-cascading.
In addition, on the 29th of Sep. the third workshop started and dealt with the same module, units 3, 4 and 5 concerning”Phonology, Function and Reading”. The trainers were divided into five groups of five trainers. One group cascaded the training workshop, the second group was observer trainers and the other three groups were trainees (participants). Likewise, on the 30th of sep. the final session workshop dealt with listening and writing, module 1, unit 6 and 7. As a result, there would be such positive and constructive feedbacks from both the observer trainers and the British trainer Mrs. Mary.
At last, the session has ended up a small party in which verses of Holy Quran’s was recited by Mr. Mahmoud Yehia , followed with a speech delivered by Mr. Acram Mothana who expressed his thanks on behalf of his master trainers to The Minister of Education Mr.Abdulrazaq Alashwal ,who paid great attention on following up conducting such English training workshops as a first stage from ( 7-9 grade) for the trainers of English and cascading them to the other trainers of English in the field, Mr. Nic Humphries, the English Director in the Middle East and North Africa, Mr. Fetwi, the English Project Manager in Kuwait and Yemen, Nawaf Shamsan, the General Manager of the British council in Yemen, Mr.Edrees Qadasi, Mr. Mohammed AlNajashi, the General Director of the Training and Qualifying department inYemen , Mrs. Raga Bazara, the projects Manager, Mr. Najeeb Almaqrami, the coordinator of the British council and Miss. Huda Saleem, the project assistance for their continuous support and notablecooperation so far and he hoped that such workshops should have reflected in the near future so the trainers and the teachers of English could benefit. Then, Mr. Haider recited a lovely romantic poem entitled as "Mercy My Nymph" followed by some wonderful excerpts presented by Mr. Hassan Bakhawi and Mr. Mane’ AlMahdi.
Similarly, some master trainers got impressed well on the workshop. Abdullah Alshormani , an advisor of the Educational improvement program , (GIZ) ,the Germany Program, said" I'm so happy to be in contact with my master trainers sharing and exchanging ideas, knowledge and experience to each other and actually I would cultivate such correlative practical relationships between our program(G.I.Z), which is considered as a supporter partner, and the British council along with the Ministry of Education represented by the Training and the Qualifying department in relation to English training Courses . Najeeb Maqrami revealed that the TOT (Training of Trainers) course was so practical and was designed to equip the master trainers with the latest techniques and methods that deal with the core of their professions. I hope that the master trainers would be able to cascade the experience and knowledge to their colleagues and teachers in an effective ways showing their commitments and awareness of the Yemeni contexts in teaching and learning English. “it is really a lovely chance for me as a master trainer to have such practical workshops which are to be cascaded in the upcoming days to the whole trainers of English throughout Yemen, I really got amazed for the performance of the trainers who did their utmost including many varieties of activities during delivering such workshops, the benefits of the feedbacks given by all the colleagues to each other as well", Abdulrahman khuzam added. Mr. Fawaz Alqatwani said that" However, the workshop is intensive, we really got lavish information and new ways of training and those workshops should be cascaded immediately in the near future so most of the trainers could benefit from them". Hakim also expressed his great thanks to the trainer Mary and to the British council along with the Ministry of Education for giving this high attention to the training in Yemen. Also he expressed his pleasure to see the excellent participation and motivation of the trainers.
